Grand Final - 16 Girls

Enfield Rovers this year had 3 minor premiers, 2 state champions and 2 grand final winners. Only 1 team could claim to have achieved all these, in fact, no team even achieved any 2 of these. So the 16 girls became the dominant team this year, winning all of their games, in all tournaments, except for 1. An almost flawless performance.

They achieved their final hurdle on the weekend with 2-0 result of their nearest competitor Mascot Viper. It was a tight affair with both teams able to win. Enfield scored in the first 10 minutes and held that lead till almost the last minute when they scored their second goal and effectively won the final. Both goal keepers had outstanding games, saving numerous attacks.

Congratulations  to 12 boys who beat Mascot Vipers in their grand final.   In fact, the grand final was the Mascot Vipers first loss all season. So great effort from our 12 boys, winning 4-3 in extra time.
